"This Majestic Moose painting was actually inspired by the Owner of Park City Fine Art. My husband P. Colby Myer and I were presented with the idea to do a collaborative painting with my husbands style of magical realism and classical approach; fused with my uniquely designed compositions and colorful stylized superfluous florals. The idea sparked a creative flame within our studio! This painting is so special because it truly embraces the beauty and balance of Duality. We strived to create a painting that embodied the strength and magnificence of the beloved Moose, but we also wanted to celebrate the Divine feminine and masculine energy of Nature that exists within all life forms and to represent itâs powerful role and connection to the wondrous Animal Kingdom. Captured wading in water with moonlight reflections. This King of the forest embodies the glorious flora and fauna of Park City, Utah. Two mated goldfinch birds can be seen perched on rustic branches near aspen tree bark with the quintessential bright cadmium yellow aspen leaves extending from the antlers. Resting on the crown of the antlers are roses, ranunculus, dahlias, magnolia flowers and eucalyptus all which reflect the glamorous, earthy and vibrant hues of the mountainside. Moose are incredibly strong swimmers. Admirably, they are able to dive nearly 20 feet and stay under for 30 seconds and swim up to 6 miles in an hour. Itâs uniquely hallowed shape hair allows them to stay afloat. Thus, the Moose totem animal teaches us that manifesting greatness is possible and that by delving deep, working hard while keeping your head up will lead to flourishing success and
prosperity.
While painting this in our studio we were also reminded to take moments to stop, ponder, pause and reflect on itâs progress. Therefore, the gesture of this Moose invites the viewer to a magical place, where you can for a moment, emerge from wherever you are on our earthly journey and give yourself permission to brightly shine your own LIGHT and to express gratitude for the many things in life that bring you an abundance of joy and wonder." - Lindsey Erin
