Sharing warmth and wine as France is liberated from Nazi Occupation in 1944.... This liberation was accomplished through diplomacy, politics, and the combined efforts of the Allied Powers, free French forces, and the French Resistance. Together, these men are shown finding real home in the simple courage and act of doing the right thing, a proud yet tender celebration of unity and triumph that transcends a military victory. Above all, we see here the truths of human interaction and kindness: warmth, connection, and the beautiful comradery between good men.
Proceeds of works sold will be donated to MercuryOne, one of Mr. Beck's non-profit organizations that includes a history museum whose library is only surpassed in volume and significance by the Library of Congress and The National Archives. MercuryOne also houses education classrooms, a large first responder team for natural disasters, two anti-human trafficking teams, The Nazerene Fund, which has freed, fed and housed over 100,000 religious minority refugees from the Middle East as well as continues funding for Operation Underground Railroad.
