"As a kid, my parents listened to 'Oldies' (so for me, music from the 60âs and 70âs). I came to appreciate the music from that time period. Rodeo Road is a play on the album cover by The Beatles 'Abbey Road'. 'Abbey Road' is the eleventh studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. It is the last album the group recorded. As I painted this image, I decide to add a few of the items deep into the process to help tie the whole thing together: the guitar, the brand, and the truck. I feel that adding these items helped bring the piece together while honoring such an iconic image I pulled my inspiration from." - Stephen Boren
